RoboAtlas, a division of Launchpad Technology Ltd

Simulation, AI and test evidence for autonomous robots.

We help robotics teams, operators and researchers prove a machine behaves safely before it reaches a real site, and stay with them through to deployment.

RoboAtlas is a division of Launchpad Technology Ltd (Companies House 17071004).

Who we work with
A partner for the people taking autonomous machines out of the lab.
  • Robotics companies that need simulation, perception or test capacity alongside their own engineers.
  • Sites and operators bringing autonomous ground robots into warehouses, yards, farms and estates.
  • University and research teams looking for an engineering partner close to industry.
  • Consortia preparing funding bids that need simulation, 3D capture or evaluation work packages.

RoboAtlas is not a separate company. Work is contracted and delivered by Launchpad Technology Ltd.

What we do for you

Four ways we help a robot get to a real site.

  • Simulation and digital twins

Test behaviour safely and repeatably before moving a real machine.

A model of the robot, the site and the situations that matter, so behaviour can be checked again and again without risk to people or kit.

  • Perception and applied AI

Models that run on or beside the robot, with a human check before action.

Detection and decision support designed for the conditions your machine actually meets, with a person able to confirm before anything consequential happens.

  • 3D capture of sites and equipment

Real spaces turned into models for simulation and planning.

Sites, routes and equipment captured and turned into accurate 3D models that feed simulation, layout planning and briefings.

  • Autonomy test and evaluation

Scenario libraries, repeatable runs and plain-English evidence for your safety case.

A structured set of scenarios run the same way every time, with results written up so engineers, operators and assessors can all follow them.

Ways to work together

Start with the shape that fits your project.

  1. A scoped study

A defined simulation or evaluation study with a clear question, a fixed scope and a written report.

  2. An ongoing test partner

Test and evaluation alongside your development, run against an agreed scenario library as your machine changes.

  3. A partner on a funding bid

A technical partner for a funding bid or consortium, covering simulation, 3D capture and evaluation work packages.

  4. Embedded engineering support

Engineering time working inside your team on simulation, perception or data, on terms agreed in writing.

Real-time 3D

Built on the same real-time 3D engine as our Glass Worlds work.

The engine that runs our Glass Worlds in the browser is the foundation we build simulation, twin and capture viewers on, so models can be explored by anyone on the project without special software.

How an engagement runs

From the question to the trial.

  1. Frame the question

What the robot has to do, where, and what would count as good evidence that it does it safely. Agreed in writing with you.

  2. Model it

A simulation or digital twin of the robot, the site and the situations that matter, built from your drawings, your data or a 3D capture.

  3. Test and report

Repeatable runs across the scenarios, with results recorded and written up in plain English, including what failed and why.

  4. Support physical trials

We work alongside your hardware team on trials with your machines, carrying the same scenarios from simulation onto the real site.

Discuss a project

A short consultation is enough to work out whether a study, an ongoing partnership, a bid or embedded support fits best. Scope and price follow in a written proposal.
